On the sidelines of Green Energy Summit 2008, field trips will be organized to see real-life applications of the science of green energy -- wind, solar, geothermal, and biomass, and other renewable resources -- to facilitate sustainable development. Green energy implementations are a prerequisite for sustainable development, and increasing access to reliable energy services is vital in the fight against poverty. The Green Energy Field Trips are a unique Saltmarch Media initiative to provide a practical, real-world, out of the classroom experience for participants to learn and understand first-hand, the impact that green energy can have on society at large.

The field trip will take place on October 18-19, 2008. Please check back for updates on the field trip locations.

The field trips will provide an exposure to the participants on the functional aspects of green energy. The field trips are exclusive to conference delegates. You can register for the field trips when the registrations for the summit is open.
